So, here it is, another Wednesday, another week. Mr. Man is now 11 weeks old. For those who are counting (like me), it means my baby vacation is quickly coming to an end. I cannot believe how fast the time has gone by. Likewise, I cannot believe how fast our little boy is growing up. It does not seem that long ago that we were hoping he would get up to 8 pounds so we could use the Baby Bjorn. Today, if our scale is correct, he might be almost 11 pounds. Who knows, maybe when he gains that next pound, we'll be getting some good sleep? We'll see I guess... In the meantime, here's to enjoying the last few weeks of maternity leave....
Welcome to May big boy!
The Official Week 11 Photos (am I starting to see some puffy baby cheeks?):
In keeping with tradition, or what we did last month, for our monthly roundup, here are some of Mr. E's cutest outfits. Whereas last month E grew out of newborn clothes, this month brought baby jeans, a magnetic onesie from NYC, and E's first 6-month outfit.
Here are the baby jeans - while cute, I think they age Mr. E (is that possible for an infant?). I guess I am a sucker for cute baby onesies!
Speaking of onesies, this is a magnetic onesie from NYC. We are still undecided whether this is a good idea or not - while the magnets provide easy access, they don't always stay shut. Fortunately, Mr. E does not seem to mind. Regardless, I think the idea still wins since it is so clever...and you also have to love the label that reads, "designed in New York City, made in China". Thanks for such a cute gift Auntie Allison!
This outfit was the first outfit Mr. E received...before we knew if E was going to be a baby girl or boy. It's crazy to think he is already looking cute in this outfit which is a 6-months size. Thanks to Auntie Allison (and Jared) for this outfit as well. We love the little duckies! If this 6-month outfit already fits, I bet it won't be long before E grows out of his "original going home outfit," if that has not happened already.
I guess this fits in under the heading of all good things must come to an end. This picture makes me sad. Our little boy's first "school bag"...
To close the post for this week, here are some other photos of Mr. E - including some "B-sides" from the photo-shoot this week:
