Week 36 - Go Dawgs!

Week 36....has come and gone. Work was especially crazy for both of us, so this week felt more like a blur than usual. Nevertheless, Saturday was the highlight as we enjoyed watching UGA beat Florida and capped off the evening dining with friends at Cakes and Ale. A perfect day, truly!  I think being in Gainesville last week only made the victory seem that much sweeter.

Of course, with Halloween around the corner, we had fun getting Mr. E ready. Just wait until the Halloween post to see his cute baby costume!

Here's to a great week and hopes that Auntie Allison doesn't get swept away by Sandy during Week 37!!

The Official Week 36 Photos:

Hmmn, judging from this week's photos, we were pretty boring this week...sorry, Mr. E. At least, it looks like E likes his new shoes.

And, the real highlight of the week...watching UGA beat Florida.
How cute is our mini Georgia fan?!!
Needless to say, I think we liked his outfit better than he did. At least it was good luck.

So, for the sake of having pictures to post for Halloween, that's it for this week.
Here are some of the B-sides.

Hope everyone has a good week...(besides Sandy)!

Week 35 - The Big 8, Florida and Saying Goodbye

Week 35. Another week and more milestones for Mr. E. In addition to turning 8 months old this week, Mr. E experienced another major milestone this week....his first road trip, and into UF territory nonetheless.

Although the trip was not taken under the happiest of circumstances, we rallied and had a nice time visiting with family and remembering happy times spent with a very special lady. On the lighter side, we entertained ourselves watching UF fans (even if our jort spotting competition was pretty dull - we only spotted 2 pairs) and over indulging on lots of yummy food. Perhaps, I ate my favorite fried chicken of all time?

In any event, we had a great time. Thanks go especially to Mr. E, who traveled in his car seat and slept in his pack-n-play like a champ!

Look who just turned 8 Months...

The Official Week 35 Photos:

I had forgotten how pretty this part of Florida is (I love the trees)...
and as always, it is a treat to see Auntie Allison.
We'll miss you, Nana Helen

That's about it for this week's pics...here are the B-sides.

I especially loved the chair photos from this week...

Have a great week!

Happy 8 Month Day!

It is hard to believe it, but another birthday is here...10.15.12. Eight months and 19.6 pounds later, our little baby is quickly becoming a little boy. While I already miss the really small baby days, it has been such a joy getting to see Mr. E's personality develop every day. We certainly love our bouncing, crazy inchworm baby boy.

Happy 8 Months:)

Week 34 - Pumpkins, Birthday Parties and More...

It is almost as hard to believe that E is approaching his mid-thirties (in weeks) as it is to believe that it is nearly mid-October. Needless to say we're enjoying fall so far and this week was no exception.

Although Week 34 began on a sour sports note with the Braves and Bulldogs being disappointing, we rebounded with a fun filled week with visitors, a birthday party for Miss C and a trip to the pumpkin patch. I also have to say a special thanks to Auntie Allison for securing Mr. E's Santa photoshoot spot this week - (can't wait for December 8)! It is only October - who would have thought it would be that difficult??? Thanks again, Miss A.

Mr. E, here's to your last week of being a 7-month old!

The Official Week 34 Photos:

E and I had a lot of fun taking pictures one day last week and here are some of my favorites. Aren't E and Goldie just adorbs?! It's so sweet how they are quickly becoming the best of friends. E lights up whenever he sees Goldie and Goldie insists on sleeping in E's room and "babysitting" him whenever she can. So sweet!!!

A definite highlight of the week was another visit with Auntie Allison....and this time she brought Jared with her. Mr. E had a fun surprise this week when Allison and Jared visited him at school. I bet the other babies were jealous...

Mr. E's fun-filled week continued with a birthday party for his buddy, Miss C - and later with a trip to the pumpkin patch. Of course, we took tons of pics with the pumpkins and the wagon...

But, that was not enough...a home photoshoot was also necessary. Though, as you can see, Mr. E had his own ideas about cooperating...

Last, but not least, we finally received our Baptism photos...here are a few favorites.

Thanks for reading this super-long post - hope everyone had a great week.
Here are the B-Sides...Enjoy!

Ciao:)
