We're Back - Happy 13 Months!

Greetings bloggy buddies, I feel like it has been ages... Anyways, we're back for what will now be our monthly update on all things Cohn (well, mostly all things Mr. E)...

In between a few sick days, a trip to Oysterfest, a birthday bouncy party, buying a new house and taking our one year photos with Landria, it has been a fun and busy month. And for those who are curious, we still haven't seen E's first steps, though we're pretty sure that he'll be walking before our next blog post.

The Official Month 13 Photos:

It is crazy to think that these photos will be the last "photoshoot" pics from our old house. How strange... Speaking of which, any ideas on how to recruit E to help pack boxes?!

One of E's first adventures as a one year old - Oysterfest 2013... note the new umbrella stroller E got for his birthday, thank you Syd and Rachel. We were very thankful for the sunshade this day!

Unfortunately, a less-fun aspect of turning one--getting sick!

Another turning one development - whole milk. It looks like someone is a fan (at least most of the time). Can you tell that we take lots of pictures of E eating? (it is the only time that he is still!)

Just hanging out around the house...gotta love Miss Goldie, she and E are best buds now. Of course, it doesn't hurt that E loves "feeding" Goldie now.

As I mentioned earlier, we are officially moving at the end of the month...so what could be cuter than watching E play with our moving boxes?! If only we could recruit him to help us pack (or motivate ourselves to start packing).

It's a party...

A special thanks to everyone who celebrated Mr. E's birthday with us. What a special day with family and friends that we won't soon forget.

Mr. E, we love you and had such a great time celebrating with you. Here's to many more birthdays and celebrations in the years ahead.

Happy 12 Months!

I can't believe it, but it's here...or more accurately, was here. Ethan finally turned one and the photo project is now complete. 

Now, for the official 12 month stats: 29 7/8 inches long and 23 pounds, 7 ounces. Not bad when you consider he started out at 7 pounds, 4 ounces and 20 inches long. What a difference a year makes. I think I need a tissue or two.

Little did we know, but E rang in his birthday with ear infections in both ears and molars coming in on both sides of his mouth. Poor baby! Maybe that explains why he wasn't exactly thrilled to participate in his one year photoshoot?!

New birthday toys! 

Here is E playing with his new Melissa & Doug "shell band" toy set that dad picked out...and reading a book. Looks like someone is going to need a haircut soon...

 

Goldie is clearly not as excited as the rest of us are about E's big birthday...

One year later, we still love restaurants.

Mr. E really loves Mr. Lee's (especially the pho)...and of course, CFA remains a family favorite...

And, just to show he still is our little baby, look who still fits in the sink!
