Goodbye September, Hello Week 32

The end of Week 32 not only marked the end of September, but it was also the first time we I left E for an overnight trip. Thanks to E's super grandparents, I am happy to report that we all survived.

While E hung out with his two favorite pooches and his grandparents at home, J and I enjoyed our weekend away at Barnsley Gardens. Although the retreat was nice, it sure was great to come home to our little man. Secretly, I think J and I were both also glad that E didn't decide to crawl (or to achieve any other major milestones) while we were gone. Looking back, it was a great week. Thanks again to my mom and dad for all of their help!

Week 32 - Time to Say Goodbye to September

The Official Week 32 Pictures:

While we were away, there was no shortage of fun for Mr. E...whether he was eating his veggies or cheering on his favorite Bulldogs, Mr. E was a good sport!

As for the crawling update, we were nervous that we were going to miss this important milestone. Thankfully, E was nice to us and decided to save crawling for yet another week. This is completely fine with us. No rush, Mr. E!

And, how could I resist posting one of these....
E still loves his baths (and the bath toys).

That's it with the pics this week.
Here are the B-sides...(and hopes that we'll have more photos next week)!

Have a great week!

Mazel Tov! Happy Happy Week 31!

Happy 3-1 to our big, little boy. In addition to being a crazy work week, this week was one for celebrations - with our friends', Jimmy and Lydia's, wedding, my birthday and the Jewish New Year. We can almost overlook the fact that one of our football teams didn't do so well this week.

As for Mr. E, he enjoyed spending the weekend with his grandparents and then he was quite the trooper attending his first Rosh Hashanah. I bet he's counting down the days until he gets his own gefilte fish and matzo ball soup! All in all, it was a great week, with no shortage of fun with friends and family.

It was a crazy week (especially the weekend), but we survived Week 31!

The Official Week 31 Photos

Thanks to E, J, my sister and parents - it was a great birthday and birthday week. Nothing like having lots of flowers around to make the work week seem that much more pleasant. Thanks everyone:)

I know J is proud, we're training our little sports fan. I'm not sure what explains the sudden change in mood below, but we know E was excited to hear the Bulldogs won on Saturday. Go Dawgs!

Blast from the past! Don't let the picture below fool you, E really has been enjoying our walks of late. Now that the weather is changing, Bob is getting a workout again. Yay, walking buddies! Maybe next week I won't be sore after a long walk...

Sadly, that's all of the pictures from Week 31. Hopefully, we'll have the camera out more for Week 32. Until then, the B-Sides:
Enjoy!

Happy 7 Month Day!

Happy 7 Month Day to Mr. E - 9.15.12! The official stats for the month - 18.6 pounds and we haven't exactly measured how long he is yet. Needless to say, the solid food is having its effect - it's almost time to go up to the 9 month clothes. Yikes!

We love you, Mr. E! Thanks for being such a good sport for your photoshoot!

Have a great week!

Baptism Week and the Big 3-0!

As we hinted during the last post, Week 30 was a big weekend for the Cohn boys as both E and J were baptized on Sunday. It was truly a special day with so many friends and family on hand to celebrate. Kudos to E and J for their spectacular baptism performances - E for not spitting up or having a blowout on stage, and J for his excellent speech. Special thanks also go out to my mom and sister (Auntie Allison) for being helpers extraordinaire for the brunch. I wish I took more pictures, but it suffices to say that the baptisms and brunch afterwards were amazing. What a great weekend with family and friends.

As time must march on, in addition to the baptism and brunch and hitting the big 3-0 this week, the end of Week 30 brought E's 7-month day. It is crazy to believe our little man is getting so old (and so big). We truly are enjoying every moment.

Look who's 30 (weeks)...

The Official Week 30 Photos:

Undoubtedly, the baptisms and brunch were the highlight of the week. Here are some shots from the big day. I can't wait to see the professional photos.  How cute are the cousies in the bottom pic? Baby H and Baby E are so cute!!!

Although we've conquered sitting, crawling has not happened yet. In fact, I think E's getting frustrated with the whole process...he would much rather play in his exersaucer.

Or...eat or "play" with Sophie. It's official, tooth #2 came in this week...

And by the end of the week, our little man turned 7 months. Where is the time going?

What a week. Here are the B-sides...
 Enjoy!

RIP - Nana H (we love and miss you)
