Week 43 - Christmas, Kimchi and Perspective...

So, what does Christmas, kimchi and perspective have in common...that would be E's 43rd week.

On a lighter note, we enjoyed watching E hone his crawling and pulling-up skills and we helped him expand his solid food palate by introducing him to kimchi and bim bim bap (I think he's a fan) this week. Thanks for to our favorite newlywed friends for being patient with E and his restaurant behavior! We also had fun involving E in our Christmas preparations - almost all of the decorating around the house is done and I think the shopping is too. Now, it's time to start wrapping and baking!

All of this was against the backdrop, however, of the awful violence in Connecticut. Hearing the news stories and seeing innocent children at church this morning just made me feel so sad and that much more thankful for the precious moments spent with our little man. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of the affected families.

It's Week 43!

The Official Week 43 Photos

Lately, it seems that E wants to pull up and stand on anything and everything, we are certainly enjoying this development. Personally, I think it makes for great photo-ops. Thanks to Gigi for the cute outfit!

How could we forget - it is almost Christmas. We're getting so excited to celebrate Christmas with Mr. E. Here he is in his new chair, looking at the Christmas tree for the first time...

And the B-Sides, of course..

Enjoy!

Happy Ten Month Day!

Here we are in Mid-December, nearly 10 months since we first met our Baby-E. It is amazing how fast the time and milestones have flown by. If the past few months were about learning to eat solid food and mastering the army crawl, I think it is safe to say that proper crawling and even the first few steps are just around the corner.

What a great 10 months it has been, we can't wait to see what lies ahead...and, of course, we can't wait to celebrate E's first Christmas.

Thank you, Richard and Debbie for the cute baby jeans and sweater vest.

For the official stats - E weighs in at a whopping 22.8 pounds and roughly 29 inches long (I may be way off with the height as E was "helping" with the measurements).  If BabyCenter is to be trusted, E is in the 95% percentile for both height and weight. Go Baby E!

Week 42 - Pull Ups and Santa

Here we are in the second week of December and E's 42nd week. If my math is correct, E will be a year old in just 10 weeks. Crazy!!!

With Christmas just around the corner, E met Santa for the first time this week. And, in perhaps bigger news, E also began pulling himself up on various pieces of furniture around our house this week. It is official - our house is now under assault by the E-man. Here come the baby gates!

Let the 10 week countdown begin, E is 42 weeks!

The Official Week 42 Photos - let's just say props are becoming a necessity for the weekly photos...

Our little man is growing up, it was hard to pick a favorite from these

Definitely, the big development of the week...uh oh...

Some fun pics from around the house:

And for the big reveal and to get into the Christmas spirit, our visit with Santa.
I think E was a bit skeptical of the whole thing...maybe there was a hint of a smile in the last photos?

Hope everyone had a great week...here are the B-Sides:

Enjoy!

Week 41 - Happy E, Sad Dawgies!

We'll try not to think about that UGA game...

At least E kept things light and entertaining, which we really needed this weekend (and thanks go to Buddy for making the game more bearable).

In non-football news, it is crazy to think we are so close to the one year mark, and that we now have a little person crawling around the house. Without a doubt, our little boy is growing up fast...and before long he'll be walking and the sippy cup will be replacing the bottles.

What happened to our little baby?

It's Here...Week 41

 The Official Week 41 Pictures:

Thanks to Childtown taking such good care of E, here are some great shots they took. Look at our little boy - standing up, using his sippy cup, making art and trying his first vanilla wafer...he's growing up too fast!

Pre-UGA game fun:

Needless to say, between recovering from Thanksgiving and watching the UGA game, we were a little distracted from taking photos of Mr. E. Thus, the B-sides...

Have a great week:)
