We hope that everyone has had a great holiday weekend. We had a great extra day off with E and because of that, I'm just now getting around to updating the blog.
As we officially welcomed September this week, it is hard to believe how big our little man is getting and how fast the time is flying by. Although we are still not at the crawling stage, E can almost sit up by himself and he has definitely started to develop an appetite (and some formidable crawling legs). In particular, this week E tried his first baby food and we successfully introduced green beans to his diet. Fortunately for us, this little guy likes his veggies.
In other firsts - E saw his first football games, with both UGA and USC winning for him, and thanks to his grandma, he enjoyed his first real swinging experience on a swingset. We would also like to thank Nana K for watching E for us this weekend so we could could go to Athens for UGA's first game. Now, if we could only get E to a pool and maybe a road trip before his first birthday...
The Official Week 28 Photos - someone is getting some crawling legs!
Since eating is quickly becoming one of E's favorite activities, it is only fair that we include several eating pics on the blog...green beans and oatmeal are big hits in our house.
Like his new food, E is also learning to like water and how to use his new sippy cup. Forgive me for buying the Florida color cup, it was the cheapest color option on Amazon. Go figure...
In addition to E's expanding diet, this week also marked the beginning of football season. E did not miss the occasion as he sported the red and black for his his first UGA game. And for the record, he also wore his USC onesie this week.
Notice how E can almost make the letter G with his hand (what skill!?!)
The final first for the week - E, with the help of grandma, found the neighborhood playground.
He loves the swing!
Last, but not least, the B-sides for the week:
Hope everyone has a great (4-day) week:)
P.S. - thanks to Kristin for several of this week's photos :)
