5 months...22 weeks...where is the time going?
Week 22 was a big week for us. Not only did E turn five months this week, but he finally met his Uncle Matt who has been living in China for the past year (I'll post pics soon) and he became a cousin to a very cute baby girl.
In between catching up with family that we have not seen in ages and welcoming a brand new baby, this week we ventured to yet another stop on Buford Highway and we found time to bond with our little guy. Among the less-than-dramatic highlights, it appears that we are getting close to the crawling stage and that E is finally beginning to accept his baby shades (at least that is the case according to his teachers). Isn't it amazing how fast things can change in just one week when you are a little baby!?!
Thank you Matt, Baby H and most of all, Baby E for a great week.
Welcome to Week 22 - could crawling be just around the corner?
The Official Week 22 Pics:
A not-so-much fun project we tackled this week - organizing E's drawers. This becomes quite the necessity when you have as many clothes as E does. Too bad it took us almost 5 months to get around to doing this!
A fun discovery from the drawer organization project - we learned that the "original going home outfit" still fits, though admittedly, it is getting very tight! I promise, we can still snap all of the snaps, so it is still official.
One important development is beginning to feel imminent - crawling. We have noticed recently that E really likes tummy time (and practicing his crawling).
Bonding with Dad...you especially have to love the baby sunglasses and tuxedo bib in the bottom picture. What a combination!
This is just a random picture of our dishwasher to show how much E has taken over...and he is only 5 months old...
Meet Cow - e.g. the best baby toy ever. Thank you Bev and Mike for this one. E absolutely loves playing with his cow buddy.
In what is quickly becoming a weekend tradition around here, this week we visited the Crawfish Shack. Though neither of us ordered any crawfish, we both loved our po boy sandwiches (not sure about the spelling of that one) and the beignets were great. I think we have found yet another Buford Highway winner!
Until I upload pictures of the elusive Uncle Matt, we'll conclude this week's post with the B-Sides. We promise no elephants were harmed in this photo shoot:)
Happy Week 22:)

Aww! looks like fun! Ethan, we better hang out soon. Love, your aunt!
