Wow, this week feels like a blur, maybe this has something to do with the fact that I slept through/did not set my alarm twice this week?? Anyhow, it is hard to believe that Uncle Matt has been here for more than a week, that it is almost August, our closing finally happened and E is nearly 6 months old.
As we approach 6 months, it is crazy to think of all of the milestones we're approaching...crawling, sitting up and solid food. Wow! While we await those big moments, Week 23 was a nice mellow week where we just took it easy and enjoyed the quieter moments. Of course, this week did not disappoint when it came to food. As is becoming common around here, we ventured to Buford Highway, this time for Cuban food, and we also brunched with J's side of the family, Richard and Debbie to celebrate J's birthday. All in all, it was a great week.
Happy 23 Weeks, Mr. E!
The Official Week 23 Pics:
As I mentioned above, this was a very chill and relaxed week around our house:
Not particularly exciting, but as a mom, this has got to be one of the best and most pleasing things to see...a peacefully sleeping baby. I know Auntie Amanda must be jealous:
On the other end of the spectrum, the ever-entertaining exersaucer (and J's favorite E outfit):
Look what the cat dragged in from China, the elusive Uncle Matt:
This might qualify for the most tacky baby outfit ever. As proof, I think even my parents' dog, Georgia is shocked by the combination. Please forgive us - who knows what we were thinking:
And now for the random snapshots of the week. Poor E, he must feel like he spends all of his time staring at the camera:
E in a "big-boy" bed:
The bear is back:
Happy Baby!
And now for the food portion of this week's blog post...between brunch at Local 3 and Cuban food at Havana Sandwich Shop, it was a good food week. I spy someone who is getting more and more interested in the food on the plates!
We might have overdone it a bit at the Havana Sandwich Shop...

Last, but not least, the B-Sides... does anyone else notice that someone's onesie is getting tight and those baby legs are growing...
