So, we greeted the beginning of April with a cruel joke from our dryer. After it took over 12 hours to do a single load of laundry, we knew something was wrong. But, it was not until the maintenance guy arrived on Monday that we realized just how bad it was. Apparently, as the below pictures show, we were on the brink of a dryer fire. The good news is that we caught it in time and that our trusty dryer should be around with us for another decade. Who knew that you needed to service a dryer every 3 years? So, ladies and gentlemen, learn from us - get your dryer serviced!

So, there goes our PSA - fingers crossed that after getting a new garbage disposal and garage door, and now a re-configured dryer, that we will be done fixing up home appliances that we generally take for granted.
